Product Engineer

Summary

Primary Responsibilities

Product Specialist

 

  • Become a subject matter expert (SME) for one or more of our software solutions or cloud services

  • Perform software quality assurance (QA), systems integration & testing (SIT), and field initial deployments

  • Produce formal product release packages and documentation

  • Develop product training materials for sales, marketing, and customers and conduct training sessions

  • Manage product projects and assist with product deployments and complex technical support

  • Deliver thought leadership and product innovation

  • Identify product opportunities, develop marketability analyses, and create functional requirements for new products and services

 

Sales Engineering

 

  • Prepare and conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for sales, marketing, and customers

  • Create presentations illustrating product value propositions, differentiators, justifications, and returns on investment (ROIs)

  • Provide technical and solution consulting to prospective customers

  • Develop customer use cases and requirements documents

  • Develop and conduct product Proofs-of-Concept (POCs) for prospective customers

  • Understand product configurations and create technical optimizations of solutions

  • Prepare product cost-price models

  • Provide customer training

  • Establish “Technical and Solution Trusted Advisor” relationship with customers

Qualifications

Must Have:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience

  • Strong technical and engineering background with experience with advanced software products related to Workforce Optimization (WFO), Multichannel Analytics, Business Intelligence (BI), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Intelligent Virtual Agent (IVA), Automated Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning/Deep Learning (ML/DL), Customer Experience Management (CXM), Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), and Intelligent Automation (IA) Applications

  • Analytical, quick learner with the desire to acquire knowledge and be trained

  • Ability to rapidly learn Company’s technologies, target markets, cost-price models, and product configurations

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to individuals with a variety of skill levels and backgrounds

  • Highly skilled in developing and making sales and product presentations while delivering our solution’s benefits and value propositions

  • Effectively support and work well with sales and marketing teams in team selling and solution selling

  • Highly organized, disciplined, and self-motivated

  • Highly energetic, self-motivated, competitive and professional

  • Strong desire to win and overcome challenges, willing to work long hours or sometimes after hours interacting with international prospects and customers

  • Minimum BS or BA degree in Computer Science, EE, or other technology fields from an accredited institution

  • Must have a strong value system and work ethics

  • Master’s degree is a plus

  • Previous software quality assurance testing and automated testing knowledge is a plus

  • Previous experience as a sales engineer or working directly with customers in a professional manner is a plus
