Unified Messaging
Receive all messages on a single platform with OnviNet VMIII. Unified messaging features for voice, fax and email make it possible for messages to be viewed and archived directly from a networked desktop PC or forwarded to an email address.
Multiple messaging and notification options provide custom solutions for voice and fax messages. Because of sophisticated message processing and extreme flexibility, OnviNet VMIII functionality surpasses all other unified messaging systems on the market.
End users receive information through a variety of communications:
Pager
Email
Cell Phone
Home or Office Phone
Fax Machine

With unprecedented message control, end users can access messages, adjust call volume, stop, fast forward, rewind and undelete messages via a telephone keypad.

Features:
Auto Attendant
In circumstances where more than one class of service is being provided or operation is only during daytime hours, OnviNet VMIII can forward calls to an attendant/receptionist or to an auto attendant.
Multi User Greetings
Callers forwarded to the OnviNet VMIII auto attendant receive a personal greeting from their intended party and can elect to leave a message. Users can make operator assistance an available option for accounts during off hours.
Fax Messaging
Faxes can be sent directly to callers with OnviNet VMIII fax-on-demand. By calling a designated phone number, a menu of available faxes can be heard and then selected individually for delivery via fax. Users can easily send documents accessed to numerous recipients worldwide with OnviNet VMIII fax broadcasting.
Fax mail users can receive and store faxed documents which can then be retrieved (up to 20 at a time) from a remote location. A user can be notified immediately once a fax has been received. Faxes can be retrieved by calling from a fax machine or they can be forwarded to another fax machine of the user's choice.
Call Screening
When enabled, OnviNet VMIII will request the name and company of a caller before transferring the call. The call can be accepted, forwarded to another user or a message can be initiated.
Scheduled Greetings
Schedule greetings to change at various times during the day, week, or year. Up to ten different events, such as holidays, vacations, and meetings can be scheduled in advance
Group Partitions
OnviNet VMIII can be programmed to forward messages to grouped email accounts to ensure that messages and notifications are provided to all intended recipients. Fax messages can be forwarded to email in a .tif file format while voice messages are sent as compressed .wav files. OnviNet VMIII can support up to 72 call processing ports in a single chassis, an unlimited number of mailboxes, up to 1500 simultaneous connections (log on) to the server (from operator stations on a LAN) and utilities for "plug and play" for over 60 different switches.

Administration:
Administration can be performed locally or remotely using intuitive point and click features. OnviNet VMII uses a token programming language allowing for customization to satisfy unique end-user requirements.
Administrators can modify notifications, account preferences for mailboxes and define properties for each mailbox including personal greeting length, groups, menus, chains and more.

Mailbox message processing as well as greetings, do not disturb and call screening, can be scheduled by date and time.

Administrators can also monitor activity of mailboxes individually or system wide. Detailed reports can be run to further analyze activity.
